Litchfield is know as the backyard to Darwin with its relative close proximity to the city and access to breathtaking waterfalls and tropical rainforest. Some of the most iconic spots in Litchfield include Florence Falls, Buleys rock hole and Wangi Falls. There are multiple operators that run Litchfield tours as a day trip as well as some that run Litchfield Tours as part of a multi day trip in conjunction with Kakadu or Arnhem Land. The best way to access Litchfield if not on a Litchfield Tour is by 4WD but some spots are accessible on sealed roads due to its close proximity to Darwin. This tour is for active people who enjoy the comfort of established camps. We stay in tents and travel on unsealed roads and 4WD tracks.
